Here is a photo of the wedding couple and my paper flowers. Both the bouquet depicted and the boutonniere are paper. Its even more rewarding to see them in action. This photo is by Thyme Photography

Amazing.. the show is finally over, and what a pleasure it was to be featured in Jeppesen Terminal at the Denver Airport. The girls and I all went to pick-up the show today. I had handmade paper, cards, envelopes, books, ribbon, and the like in this show. The show went from October 2012-May 2, 2013. It was a lovely collection of Denver Artists!! My work and others can be seen here www.coloradohandmade.org. Can I give a HUGE "thank you" to my girls and Bruce for helping me today? Wow I couldn't have picked up all the product, 2 infants (I was watching Penelope today) and Christine by my self. We live in a beautiful world. Never underestimate the joy that can be found when you have to face difficult things. You never know, it might be your turn to be blessed by someone else today. Okay soo here are the revised flowers.. I think they turned out beautifully. hmm any suggestions? These are all handmade PAPER flowers attached to wire with ribbon and pearl accents. The wedding colors are emerald green and royal blue. Okay here's the first go at composing the mens boutonniere.. what do you think??? burlap? or no? The green ribbon is just for holding the burlap in place since I didn't glue it. I wanted to get a feeling for the look before going permanent. I think the colors work well together.
I just bought the Paper Blossoms Collection by McGill. here is a Rose made from blue antiqued paper (I used the extra paper from my antiqued books shown in the previous post). Doing some experimenting for wedding bouquette (how do you spell that word?). I really like how the eucalyptus leaves accent the flowers.. any suggestions? Here is the process of Italian bookbinding (classical style) with sewing loom and cord heavy string.
